About The Position
SeaBear Company is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Packaging Coordinator to lead their Packaging team. This role is responsible for ensuring products are packaged safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting production schedules and quality standards. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can motivate a team, coordinate daily production needs, and take pride in delivering quality products. This is a full-time, year-round position based at their production facility in Anacortes, WA.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and food safety.
- Ability to organize, lead, and motivate employees.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory, packaging, or production experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily packaging operations to meet production goals for quantity, timing, cost, and quality.
- Provide leadership, clear direction, and feedback to packaging team members.
- Coordinate packaging materials and inventory to ensure supplies are staged and ready for scheduled production.
- Oversee packaging and inspection activities to ensure products meet company standards.
- Ensure paperwork and production records are completed accurately and on time.
- Follow and reinforce company food safety, allergen control, sanitation, and food defense procedures.
