About The Position

The Packaging Box Assembler completes assigned carton assembly tasks during the shift on time and in accordance with quality requirements. The role follows the workshop supervisor’s work assignments and production schedule, assembles cartons according to work instructions and production targets, and supports safe, organized production operations.

The position requires reading and understanding safety, operating, and maintenance documents; interpreting written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions; and communicating effectively with team members, engineers, leadership, and customers. The work involves prolonged standing and physical activities such as turning, reaching, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The employee may be occasionally exposed to extreme heat, and the work environment usually has moderate noise. Safety requirements include safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed work boots.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Ability to read, understand, and comprehend documents such as safety rules and operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to speak effectively and interact with team members, engineers, leadership, and customers.
• Understand process-document requirements and product-related standards.
• Familiarity with company rules and regulations.
• Ability to communicate and coordinate.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform turning, reaching, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass static strength requirements for grip.
• Visual acuity including near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.
• Follow safety requirements and use required personal protective equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in residential or commercial renovation.
• Experience in carton manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Follow the workshop supervisor’s work assignments and production schedule.
• Assemble cartons according to work instructions, quality standards, and production targets.
• Inspect assembled cartons and promptly report quality or material issues.
• Properly use and maintain tools and equipment, and report abnormalities.
• Complete required production records accurately and on time.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain workplace organization in accordance with 5S standards.
• Meet performance expectations related to output, yield, safety, and 5S.
