About The Position

Airgas is hiring a Box Washer in Denver, Colorado, to clean and sanitize dry ice containers and prepare them for loading onto trailers. The role operates a forklift daily to move dry ice boxes in support of team goals and follows all safety and quality policies and procedures. Site upkeep duties include sweeping, washing or painting, trash removal, and other general maintenance. The employee may also be asked to perform other reasonable, related duties as required by a supervisor.

The position is performed primarily in a production area, with some office work for data entry. The production area may be warm in summer and cool in winter. Personal protective equipment is required for workplace hazards; gloves are required when directly handling dry ice. The listed pay is $25; no pay period is specified.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
• Wear required personal protective equipment, including gloves when directly handling dry ice.
