About The Position

AMSOIL is hiring a Packaging Associate responsible for accurately completing and preparing customer orders for shipment in accordance with company standards. The role supports customer satisfaction and efficient production by packaging and labeling products accurately, maintaining quality standards, and safely operating equipment.

The Packaging Associate maintains finished-goods and packaging-material inventory; fills work orders and pick tickets; prints and applies labels; prepares materials and shipments; and operates packaging equipment and a forklift. The role also includes checking shipments against purchase orders, completing required documentation, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Forklift certification.
• Organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Self-motivation to obtain information and expand personal knowledge.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, with good communication skills and professional behaviors.
• Authorization to work in the United States (or Canada if applicable) without current or future employer sponsorship.

• Prior experience operating packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain finished-goods inventory and report low quantities to the customer service manager or production supervisor.
• Fill work orders from bulk storage into packaged goods using the appropriate packaging.
• Fill pick tickets from stock.
• Print appropriate labels with the correct part number, size, and batch information.
• Prepare materials for shipment in appropriate boxes or containers.
• Operate tube sealers, a three-roll mill, tube fillers, a cartridge filler, drum pumps, and a forklift.
• Ensure finished goods have the correct package labels and that all numbers are maintained through the process.
• Ensure work orders and pick tickets are properly completed and signed.
• Organize and monitor packaging materials and report low supplies to the customer service manager or production manager.
• Check shipments against purchase orders, package boxes, and place shipping labels and documents on boxes or skids for FedEx, UPS, DHL, and trucking shipments.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate a forklift safely and comply with safety standards, including lockout/tagout.
