About The Position

Packaging Machine Operators at City Brewing Company work as a team to ensure liquid production is safely and efficiently processed through the packaging production line. The Packaging Associate is responsible for daily production duties in an assigned area of the line, maintaining ownership of machine centers, identifying potential risks, and ensuring product flows smoothly. The role contributes to producing high-quality products on time for customer delivery.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED certificate.
Proficiency using a computer to record and submit daily metrics.
Ability to collaborate with a large team to achieve agreed-upon metrics.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

Responsibilities

Perform daily activities in the assigned packaging-line area while meeting safety, quality, and cleanliness standards.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices to maintain a safe work environment and product quality.
Complete quality checks for the assigned machine center and product requirements.
Maintain appropriate raw-material levels to prevent production downtime.
Read work orders and use computer workstations to complete the appropriate operator checklists.
Follow work and safety rules, including wearing required GMP attire and personal protective equipment.
Participate in training to understand and implement updated policies and procedures, and support teammates during policy transitions.
Work flexible shifts and daily or weekend overtime as needed to support production.
Maintain personal hygiene, health, and sanitation standards required by the FDA, Department of Agriculture, and other municipal, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
Record inventory, production metrics, and other line metrics to support an appropriate shift handoff.
