Packaging Associate
About The Position
The Packaging Associate supports production and assembly of products for GNE-owned brands. The role’s primary duties include shipping, assembly, inventory control, and maintaining general warehouse safety and cleanliness related to assembly products. The associate picks and verifies products using a radio frequency scanner, coordinates materials and products across on-site facilities, follows scanning and labeling procedures, and records material and job-order transactions. The role also supports shipping cut piece and bulk foam for customers as needed and contributes to team operations and workplace safety.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- 0–1 years of experience in a related position or field.
- Ability to work a schedule based on an understanding of responsibilities and priorities.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions and communicate with personnel.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work in a manner that promotes a safe working environment.
- Ability to contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Ability to obtain an equipment license or power equipment certification as required.

- Experience with RF devices.
Responsibilities
- Pick product based on product label information, verify the correct product, and accurately move it using a Radio Frequency Scanner.
- Coordinate materials and products through multiple on-site facilities.
- Follow operating procedures for scanning and labeling products.
- Accurately record material and job-order transactions as directed.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Keep the supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems, and other information needed for effective management.
- Work safely and comply with established safety rules and practices.
- Coordinate and communicate plans and activities with others to support a coordinated work effort and team approach.
- Assist with shipping cut piece and bulk foam for customers as needed.
- Attend training as directed or assigned.
- Perform other duties as apparent or assigned.
