As a Packaging Operator, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality products to customers by safely operating, monitoring, and maintaining packaging equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Ability to safely operate manufacturing and packaging equipment.
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English to safely and effectively perform job duties.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to follow food safety, GMP, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
  • Ability to accurately complete production and operational documentation.
  • Willingness to rotate assignments and support operational coverage requirements.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and varying schedules as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous production line manufacturing experience.
  • Experience operating packaging equipment in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Food service or food handling experience.
  • Experience working in high-volume manufacturing operations.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts.
  • Cross-functional experience working in manufacturing, packaging, or production settings.

Responsibilities

  • Safely set up, adjust, operate, and monitor packaging equipment to support daily production requirements.
  • Operate packaging machinery including: Elopak, Bosch, Nimco, Jones, SIG, WIP Coordinator (Utility Driver)
  • Rotate between workstations and provide relief coverage for team members as needed.
  • Monitor production processes and make equipment adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
  • Complete required production, quality, and operational documentation accurately and timely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.
  • Support and participate in preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Follow all food safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and company safety procedures.
  • Participate in training and cross-training activities to support operational flexibility.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and customer demands.
  • Support overtime, weekend work, and schedule flexibility as business needs require.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.
