Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- General reading and computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office Suite and ERP systems.
- Experience in steel warehousing, including knowledge of defects common to steel.
- Ability to read and use a measuring tape.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and eagerness to learn and grow.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of steel banding and shop experience.
- Relevant steel experience.
Responsibilities
- Assemble skids to client-requested measurements.
- Wrap finished products, place them into boxes, and create labels.
- Operate the banding head for slit coils.
- Ensure packaging is secure and proper.
- Use equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate a forklift.
- Clean scrap from aisles.
