About The Position

The Packager packages finished food products at the end of the manufacturing process. This role checks packaging materials and product date and weight, seals packages and boxes, verifies products and packaging meet company specifications, removes defective items from the production line, and assembles product containers. The Packager maintains an organized work area and follows safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices. Regular attendance and punctuality are required. The position is performed in a refrigerated food manufacturing plant. The environment is wet and cold, with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F. Work involves repetitive hand, wrist, and finger activities; repetitive lifting, kneeling, and bending with items over 20 pounds; and extended periods of walking and standing. Production needs may require overtime and evening or weekend scheduling.

Production or assembly experience is preferred.
English/Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.
