About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Package Handler at its Wilkes Barre location in Jenkins Township, Pennsylvania. This active, hands-on warehouse role involves working with a team to keep packages moving safely and efficiently. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided. The seasonal assignment runs from October 27, 2026, to January 1, 2027. The position pays $17.00, with weekly pay and overtime pay consistent with applicable law. Potential opportunities beyond the season may be available, but continued employment is not guaranteed.

The scheduled shift is Saturday through Wednesday from 3:00 AM to 8:00 AM or until the sort ends. Employees should be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed, and for overtime when business needs require. The warehouse may be hot or cold, and temperature control capabilities may be limited.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in hot or cold environments, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for action.
• Work with a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
