About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal, part-time Package Handler to help keep packages moving during the holiday season. This active, hands-on warehouse role involves working with a team to move packages safely and efficiently. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided. Seasonal team members may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability, but continued employment is not guaranteed.

The position is located at 565 S Pinnacle Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446. The shift is Saturday and Sunday, with typical shift options of 8:00 AM–3:30 PM or 4:00 PM–1:00 AM, or until the sort ends. Hours and end times may vary based on business needs and package volume. The seasonal assignment runs from 10/27/26 to 01/01/27. Pay is $18.90 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for weekend work (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Overtime pay is provided consistent with applicable law, and premium pay applies to hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. A seasonal bonus of $1,000 is advertised; eligibility, amount, and payment requirements may vary by location and assignment, and additional terms and conditions may apply.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Be able to repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Be able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for action.
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
