About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal, part-time Warehouse Associate (Package Handler) to help move holiday packages through its Romeoville, Illinois facility. This is an active, hands-on warehouse role working alongside a team to keep packages moving safely and on time. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

The position pays $18.90 per hour, described as the current hourly rate plus an additional $1.00 per hour for weekend work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Eligible overtime is paid in accordance with applicable law. Seasonal bonus eligibility, amount, and payment requirements may vary by location and assignment. Premium pay is offered for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

The scheduled shift is Saturday and Sunday. Typical shift options are 8:00 AM–3:30 PM or until the sort ends, and 4:00 PM–1:00 AM. Hours and end times may vary based on business needs and package volume. The seasonal assignment is scheduled for October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. Seasonal employees may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
