About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal, full-time Warehouse Associate (described in the posting as a Seasonal Package Handler) at its Romeoville, Illinois location. The role supports holiday package operations by unloading, sorting, moving, and loading packages alongside a team. No prior warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

The weekday night shift runs Monday through Friday, typically from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM or until the sort ends. Hours and end times may vary based on business needs and package volume. The stated pay is up to $20.90 per hour, consisting of a base hourly rate of $18.90 plus a $2.00-per-hour weekday night shift differential. The posting also advertises a $1,000 seasonal bonus, subject to eligibility and other terms, and overtime pay consistent with applicable law. Seasonal assignment dates are October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. Holiday premium pay is offered for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Seasonal employees may be considered for permanent openings after the assignment, depending on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Be able to repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Be able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their destinations safely and on time.
