Package Handler - Chicago North - LS Evenings
About The Position
OnTrac is hiring a Package Handler to join its operations team at 350 N Wolf Road, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. The role contributes to warehouse operations by handling and sorting packages, loading delivery trucks, and following safety protocols to support a productive and secure work environment. The listed pay is $18.75 per hour. Availability is required across seven days; the shift is 4:00 PM–8:00 PM or until the end of sort. Hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” means completion of the day’s required sorting work and cleanup activities as directed by site management.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to remain on your feet while working.
- Ability to work in warehouse temperatures that vary by season, including heat and cold.
- Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety and follow applicable safety protocols.
- Unload trailers.
- Sort packages by ZIP code.
- Load trucks for deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete the job.
