Package Handler - S Brunswick
About The Position
OnTrac is hiring a Package Handler to support warehouse operations at its Dayton, New Jersey location. The Package Handler contributes to the smooth functioning of the operations team by handling packages, maintaining quality, and following safety protocols in a productive and secure work environment. The role requires working on your feet in a warehouse where temperatures vary by season, and regularly lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving packages averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds. The listed schedule is either Sunday through Wednesday or Thursday through Saturday, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM or until the sort is complete. Hours may vary based on business needs. “End of Sort” means completion of all required sorting work for the day and cleanup activities as directed by site management. Pay is $17.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic spoken and written English proficiency to understand safety and operational instructions in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to stay on your feet while working.
- Ability to work in warehouse heat and cold as temperatures vary by season.
- Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Follow safety practices and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Unload trailers and sort packages by ZIP code.
- Load trucks for deliveries.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete the work.
