About The Position

As a Consultant specializing in SAP HANA SCM SD, you will design, implement, and configure SAP HANA-based Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Sales and Distribution (SD) solutions for clients. The role focuses on helping clients optimize sales and distribution operations, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue. It can be performed from anywhere in the US.

You will work with clients to understand business needs, design tailored solutions, configure SAP HANA systems, and support seamless integration and performance. The position also involves helping clients realize value from implemented solutions and improving operational efficiency.

The role requires deep SAP Sales and Distribution and Order-to-Cash (OTC) expertise, including SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation, configuration, integration, extensibility, data migration, testing, and release management. You will apply SAP Activate methodology, align solutions with SAP Best Practices, and coordinate across related functions and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of hands-on SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) / Order-to-Cash experience, including at least 5 years in SAP implementation consulting roles.
• At least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementations, with direct responsibility for OTC design and configuration, plus experience implementing OTC in SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong functional knowledge of sales order management, pricing, billing, credit management, settlement management, returns, delivery, and shipping.
• Ability to independently configure, test, troubleshoot, and support OTC functionality using SAP Central Business Configuration, SSCUIs, and Fiori apps in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Understanding of Public Cloud extensibility options, including key user extensibility, developer extensibility, and side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP, and ability to select an appropriate option.
• Working knowledge of SAP-released APIs, communication arrangements, SAP Integration Suite, and OTC integration scenarios with CRM, eCommerce, EDI, and tax systems.
• Proven experience with SAP Activate methodology and SAP Best Practices.
• Understanding of OTC integration with Finance/Controlling (FI/CO), Purchasing and Materials Management (PTP/MM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), and Production Planning (PP).
• Practical experience with OTC master and transactional data migration using SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, including validation, reconciliation, and system cutover activities.
• Experience preparing and executing functional, integration, and regression testing; supporting SIT/UAT; resolving defects; managing Public Cloud release upgrades; and providing post-go-live hypercare.
• Strong understanding of order-to-cash business processes and ability to translate business requirements into practical SAP solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including independently investigating functional issues, identifying root causes, and developing solutions.
• Experience with advanced SAP HANA features, including data modeling, data warehousing, and analytics, and ability to apply them to complex SCM and SD solutions.
• Experience with SCM and SD best practices, process optimization, and performance metrics analysis.
• Experience integrating SAP HANA systems with business applications, including CRM, ERP, and logistics management systems.
• Industry knowledge in Utilities, Energy, Pharma, Manufacturing, or similar industries.

Responsibilities

• Use SAP HANA, SCM, and SD expertise to improve clients’ operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops, identify process gaps, and design solutions aligned with SAP Best Practices.
• Configure, test, troubleshoot, and support OTC functionality in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Support OTC data migration, validation, reconciliation, system cutover, testing, defect resolution, release upgrades, and post-go-live hypercare.
