About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant with a proven track record in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementations. The consultant will lead the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions, with a focus on SAP Activate methodology, Fit-to-Standard delivery, SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC), and clean core extension principles. The role involves working with clients to streamline supply chain operations, improve inventory visibility, and increase warehouse efficiency. The position can be performed from anywhere in the United States.

Requirements

• At least 5–7 years of SAP EWM consulting experience, with strong functional knowledge of supply chain operations.
• Successful completion of at least 1–2 full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementations involving the EWM module.
• Practical experience with SAP Activate methodology phases: Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run.
• Firm understanding of clean core concepts, standard cloud extensibility, and the absence of traditional SPRO and custom ABAP environments in public cloud setups.
• Exceptional client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently within remote or hybrid consulting teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Fit-to-Standard workshops, assess business requirements against standard SAP cloud processes, and guide clients toward standard public cloud solutions.
• Configure SAP S/4HANA Cloud Warehouse Management capabilities using SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC) and standard browser apps; manage standard cloud extensions without classic SPRO or ABAP modifications.
• Design and configure core EWM processes, including inbound and outbound logistics, internal warehouse movements, putaway and picking strategies, inventory management, handling units, and replenishment.
• Ensure system integration using qRFC, CIF, and cloud APIs between EWM, core ERP, and other cloud solutions.
• Oversee standard data migration concepts using SAP toolsets.
• Prepare and manage test plans, test cases, and test results through standard quality tools.
• Support deployment, cutover, and post-go-live hypercare optimization.
• Advise clients and stakeholders on native cloud best practices, defend the solution template, and support organizational change.
