About The Position

Pack House General Labor workers pack year-round tomato produce to meet quality and efficiency standards for customers. The role supports pack-house production lines by handling product and materials, operating and calibrating machinery, moving pallets, and assembling and transporting orders.

Responsibilities

• Stack boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Load products onto manual or machine-operated packaging lines.
• Move pallets using a pallet jack.
• Transport materials and bulk products to the pack house and production lines.
• Transport finished product orders.
• Follow instructions to meet daily pack-house production objectives.
• Calibrate weighing machinery and other assembly-line machines, such as MAF equipment.
• Operate pack-line machinery, including starting and stopping equipment and reporting issues, progress, quality, and machine efficiency.
• Load machines with the products or materials needed to build boxes.
• Possibly operate forklifts.
