About The Position

The Pack House General Labor position supports packing operations at a spacious, year-round tomato-growing facility. Workers pack produce to meet quality and efficiency standards for customers, assist with product and material movement, and operate and monitor pack-line equipment.

Responsibilities

• Stack boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Load product onto manual or machine packaging lines.
• Move pallets using a pallet jack.
• Transport materials for the pack house.
• Transport bulk product ready for line assembly.
• Transport finished product orders.
• Follow instructions to meet daily pack-house line objectives.
• Calibrate weighing machinery and other assembly-line machines, such as MAF.
• Operate pack-line machinery, including starting and stopping operations, reporting issues and progress, and monitoring quality assurance and machine efficiency.
• Load machines with product or materials needed to build boxes.
• Possibly operate forklift machines.
