About The Position

Lovelace Emergency Orthopedic Group is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a full-time position with no call required. Responsibilities include the evaluation and management of orthopedic patients in the Emergency Department, hospital rounding, pre- and post-operative care, orthopedic surgical first assist duties (including complex fracture procedures), and follow-up care in the clinic setting. The Advanced Practice Provider will work collaboratively with the Emergency Orthopedic Service physicians to provide high-quality orthopedic care across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role is part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team that values APPs as integral providers. The position utilizes Smart Technology, including Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology, to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding, contributing to better work-life balance and revenue.

Requirements

Licensed NP or PA with prescriptive authority in New Mexico
DEA license required
