The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring and patrolling premises. They preserve order by enforcing regulations and directives for client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries such as Convenience Store truck stops, Travel Centers, Warehouses, and Truck yards.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a current Level 3 Security Guard Card in the State of New Mexico.
Must have your own firearm to carry on the job (semi-auto, e.g., 9mm, .45 cal, .40 cal).
Must have experience as an Armed Security Officer.
Ability to obtain security certification according to the State of New Mexico.
Ability to pass drug screen.
Ability to pass background check.
E-Verification Approval.
Completion of on-boarding process.
Approval and interview with assigned site manager.
Completion of on-the-job training and all other site-specific training.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and patrolling premises.
Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
See, hear, and evaluate potential risks or incidents.
Safeguard clients in industries such as Convenience Store truck stops, Travel Centers, Warehouses, and Truck yards.
