About The Position

Premier Protective Security (PPS) is seeking a Level 3 Flex Armed Security Guard in Albuquerque, NM. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and patrolling various locations. The Security Officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives for client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and the premises. As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Convenience Stores, Truck Stops, Travel Centers, Warehouses, and Truck Yards.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a current Level 3 Security Guard Card in the State of New Mexico.
Must have your own firearm (9mm, .45 cal, .40 cal, semi-auto).
Must have experience as an Armed Security Officer.
At least 1 year of previous Armed Guard experience required.
Ability to obtain security certification according to the State of New Mexico.
Ability to pass drug screen.
Ability to pass background check.
E-Verification Approval.
Completion of on-boarding process.
Approval and interview with assigned site manager.
Ability to commute/relocate to Albuquerque, NM.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring and patrolling premises.
Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
Provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Actively safeguard the premises.
See, hear, and evaluate potential risks or incidents.
