About The Position

Clean Harbors is hiring an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator for its safety-conscious team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The route runs from Salt Lake City to San Jose, California, with weekly home time. Requirements

• Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• At least 12 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safe work practices, policies, and processes, keeping health and safety the top priority.
• Operate tractor-trailer units.
• Adhere to weight limits and ensure proper utilization of units.
• Ensure hazardous and non-hazardous waste is properly loaded and unloaded, and secure loads correctly.
• Placard vehicles according to company and Department of Transportation requirements and regulations.
• Maintain daily logs, invoicing, timesheets, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
