About The Position
Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Roll-Off/End Dump Owner Operator to join its team in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The route runs from Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Tennessee and Arkansas. The role averages $200,000–$250,000 per year and includes weekly home time. Compensation covers all on-duty time through hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay. The position involves picking up hazardous and non-hazardous waste from customer locations and transporting it safely, while following company and Department of Transportation requirements.
Requirements
- Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
- At least 12 months of Class A driving experience.
- Ability to climb and work from heights.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to effectively use required technology, including mobile applications and computer software.
Responsibilities
- Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and act safely at all times.
- Pick up waste from customer locations using roll-off and/or end-dump units.
- Adhere to weight requirements and ensure proper utilization of units.
- Ensure hazardous and non-hazardous waste is properly loaded and unloaded, and secure loads appropriately.
- Placard the vehicle according to company and Department of Transportation requirements and regulations.
- Maintain daily logs, invoicing, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports.
