About The Position

American Direct Logistics is seeking owner-operator independent contractors for final-mile delivery and installation work. Contractors deliver and assemble furniture, retail display units, and fitness equipment at customers’ homes or retail locations. The opportunity offers supplemental income with no routed work, and contractors can schedule jobs around their availability. Work includes collecting freight from a local warehouse, coordinating appointments with customers, completing delivery and assembly, and removing trash from the installation site. Contractors represent major retail brands and are expected to provide a professional customer experience. A two-person team is required, and contractors must provide their own helper. The company offers direct deposit, and a third-party provider is available for commercial auto, general liability, and cargo insurance.

Requirements

• Must have a cargo van, sprinter van, or box truck up to 16 feet.
• At least 2 years of delivery and assembly experience.
• Must work as part of a two-person team and provide their own helper; the company does not hire helpers.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and vehicle insurance.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
• Smartphone.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
• Owner-operators with box trucks or sprinter vans must have commercial auto insurance.
