About The Position

The Overnight Warehouse Puller selects Halperns’ products accurately and efficiently to fulfill customer orders. The position works with frozen products and requires the ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions, independently or as part of a team. Warehouse employees must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals, including bells, alarms, and horns, that warn of equipment movement, mechanical abnormalities, and other risks. The schedule is Sunday through Friday, from 7:00 p.m. until finish. Days off are Saturday and one other weekday, determined by business needs. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Applicants must provide their most recent employment experience for the application to be considered complete. Candidates working for a Halperns’ Steak & Seafood customer must provide a letter of support from their management if selected for an interview.

Requirements

Experience operating a Cherry Picker.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
Ability to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns.
Provide the most recent employment experience as part of the application.
If currently working for a Halperns’ Steak & Seafood customer, provide a letter of support from management if selected for an interview.
