The company aims to create checkout-free experiences and make everyday activities more remarkable. The Overnight Valet Attendant is a full-time role at The Edition in Miami Beach, Florida. The position pays $18.00 per hour plus tips and works an overnight shift. The attendant provides guest service and safely parks vehicles in a fast-paced environment, while supporting a team and maintaining professional standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Valet Attendant is required.
- A valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to read, write, and respond professionally to customers and co-workers.
- Basic ability to handle U.S. currency, including adding and subtracting, and comprehend instructions or memos.
- Must provide valid documentation to work legally in the U.S. if hired.
- Ability to follow instructions and remain calm during changes, delays, or unexpected events.
- Regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment for long periods.
- Occasionally sit, climb, or balance.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift).
- Flexible schedule to work special shifts as needed, including second shift, third shift, and/or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Resolve guest requests and concerns efficiently, using creative solutions when problems arise.
- Maintain knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and freeways to provide directions to guests.
- Clearly explain valet rates and procedures to customers.
- Inspect each vehicle before parking and note and report any findings.
- Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times.
- Immediately report accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations to management.
- Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and ready to work.
- Maintain a clean, complete uniform throughout the shift.
- Assist management with additional duties as assigned.
- Remain alert and professional in a fast-paced environment.
