About The Position
St. Charles Veterinary Clinic in St. Charles, Illinois, is seeking an Overnight Urgent Care Veterinarian to provide after-hours urgent and emergency care. The role is suitable for an experienced veterinarian or a newer graduate seeking to develop urgent-care skills with mentorship from experienced doctors in medical and surgical cases. The veterinarian works collaboratively with a team focused on high-quality medicine and patient care. There are no responsibilities outside assigned shifts, supporting work-life balance. The approximately 5,000-square-foot, AAHA-accredited hospital was remodeled in 2005 and is equipped for advanced medical and surgical care. Its facilities and equipment include digital radiography, digital dental radiography, recently upgraded ultrasound, a therapy laser with a dedicated room, two surgery suites, three treatment areas, and seven exam rooms. The clinic describes its approach as family-centered, treating patients as its own and clients as friends and family.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat urgent and emergency cases during after-hours shifts.
