About The Position

This position is responsible for taking stock from an l-cart or pallet and using the location codes provided on the boxes to place stock in the correct shelf locations until the assigned area is finished. The posting also describes a Food Clerk role in Meijer’s Fresh departments. Food Clerks help create a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience by serving customers, maintaining product displays, stocking and rotating merchandise, following food safety procedures, and supporting operations across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.

Responsibilities

Continue stocking until the assigned area is finished.

Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
Work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, and Grocery.
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
