About The Position

The Overnight Supervisor oversees all overnight operations of our dog daycare and boarding facility, ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of all dogs in our care. This role supervises staff, manages nightly tasks, and ensures company procedures are followed while working under the Resort Director.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
1–2 years customer service experience
Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (indoors/outdoors)
Lift 50–60 lbs regularly
Work in varying weather conditions and a loud environment
Perform cleaning and facility maintenance tasks

Nice To Haves

Dog handling experience, overnight work experience, and/or management experience
6+ months professional dog care experience preferred

Responsibilities

Supervise overnight care for daycare, boarding, bathing, and enrichment programs
Lead and support staff; provide coaching, feedback, and training
Assign staff and coordinate nightly operations to ensure safe, efficient care
Monitor dog health, behavior, feeding, and medication administration
Maintain accurate reports (health, behavior, feeding, shift reports)
Communicate updates and concerns with management and incoming shift leaders
Ensure proper dog group assignments and safe handler-to-dog ratios
Oversee facility cleanliness, safety, and inventory needs
Respond to emergencies and coordinate veterinary care when needed
Maintain positive relationships with team members and pet parents
