About The Position

This position is responsible for taking stock from an L-cart or pallet and using the location codes on each box to place products in the correct shelf locations until the assigned area is complete. The Stocking Clerk helps keep the store running smoothly and shelves stocked so customers can have an exceptional shopping experience. The role includes overnight work to prepare the store for the day ahead, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment, and supporting other operational tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Comfort learning and using basic technology.
• Ability to follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Ability to remain calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work with leadership to complete assigned areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
