About The Position
As an Overnight Stocker, you will ensure Center Store merchandising areas are maintained and stocked by each morning. You will perform assigned responsibilities and duties with ownership and a team-oriented approach. The role involves stocking and rotating merchandise, maintaining displays and store areas, checking product freshness and quality, following safety and sanitation procedures, minimizing shrink, and helping ensure the store is clean and ready for customers. Duties may be modified or supplemented according to business needs, and employees may be asked to perform other job-related tasks, subject to reasonable accommodations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience stocking.
- Knowledge of product rotation, department/store sanitation, and shrink awareness.
- Communication skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use material-handling equipment and maintain a license.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Initiative, dependability, and attention to detail.
- Completion of job skills and compliance-related training.
- Ability to demonstrate lifting 50 pounds and managing loads in excess of 85 pounds, while observing personal safe-lifting limits.
- Ability to work around moving mechanical parts and perform the physical activities described, including reaching, grasping, standing, walking, stooping, bending, and pushing or pulling.

Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move heavy or bulky products to support in-stock conditions.
- Stock and rotate merchandise on shelves and fixtures throughout grocery, frozen, Wall of Value, drugstore, and general merchandise areas.
- Build, stock, sign, maintain, and take down store displays as directed.
- Check shipments for out-of-date or damaged products and report received-product issues to the Center Store Manager.
- Report missing signs and tags.
- Organize, clean, and prepare prep areas, the wareroom, and sales floor for incoming trucks.
- Remove cardboard and trash from shelves and merchandising fixtures.
- Clean shelves and fixtures and keep the sales floor clean and safe.
- Follow safety and sanitation SOPs and comply with applicable regulations and standards for product freshness, food safety, and sanitation.
- Minimize shrink through careful product handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring the store is stocked, clean, and ready for business.
- Perform other job-related tasks as requested by a supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodations.
