About The Position
BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Overnight Stocker to join their team. This role involves stocking, rotating, and storing general merchandise and food items, ensuring all products are clearly labeled and fully stocked. The position also requires maintaining a neat and clean store environment by removing trash and debris. Team members are expected to carry out assigned job functions, support club policies, and act with honesty and integrity, prioritizing member needs and ensuring a safe and positive environment. The role emphasizes delivering service excellence, resolving member concerns, and maintaining GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and GOLD Club Standards for a grand opening look daily. This includes ensuring all items are stocked, promotional plans are executed, signage is accurate, and the club is clean and organized. Team members should understand how to access and read performance reporting to see the connection between consistent execution and business impact.
Requirements
- Previous grocery/stock experience preferred.
- Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
- At least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food.
- Ensures that all merchandise is fully stocked.
- Maintains display signage for all products.
- Creates labels and/or applies merchandise sales tags to items.
- Ensures all product labels and price tags are clear and visible.
- Handles damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensures the club is neat, clean, and organized.
- Performs general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the club.
- Maintains all club policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.
