About The Position
BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking Overnight Stockers to join their team. This role involves stocking, rotating, and storing general merchandise and food items, ensuring all products are clearly labeled and fully stocked. The position also requires maintaining a neat and clean store environment by removing trash and debris. Team members are expected to carry out assigned job functions, support club policies, and act with honesty and integrity, prioritizing member concerns. A safe and positive environment for members and colleagues is essential, emphasizing inclusion, diversity, collaboration, and respect. The role requires working with speed and agility, innovating and adapting to change, and maintaining a friendly and positive attitude. Members are expected to deliver service excellence, resolve concerns, and ensure a safe and positive experience. Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate) and GOLD Club Standards (Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean, Grand opening look) is crucial. This includes ensuring all items are stocked, promotional plans are executed, signage is visible and accurate, and the club is clean and organized. Understanding how to access and read performance reporting and seeing the connection between execution and business impact is also important.
Requirements
- Previous grocery/stock experience preferred.
- Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

Responsibilities
- Stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food.
- Ensures that all merchandise is fully stocked.
- Maintains display signage for all products.
- Creates labels and/or applies merchandise sales tags to items.
- Ensures all product labels and price tags are clear and visible.
- Handles damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensures the club is neat, clean, and organized.
- Performs general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the club.
- Maintains all club policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Carries out job functions and responsibilities as assigned.
- Supports the application of club policies, procedures and compliance.
- Acts with honesty and integrity and lead with the member in mind to address all concerns and to escalate any concerns, as appropriate.
- Ensures a safe and positive environment for our members and each other.
