About The Position

The Overnight Stock Clerk stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food; keeps merchandise fully stocked and clearly labeled; and helps maintain a neat, clean, and organized club. The role includes applying labels or sales tags, maintaining visible product signage and pricing, handling damaged or spoiled products according to company policies, and performing general housekeeping such as removing trash and cardboard. Team members follow club policies and procedures, support a safe and positive environment, deliver member service, work collaboratively to achieve club standards, and may perform duties in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. The position involves continuous movement on hard surfaces and frequent physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with heavier or awkward items moved with assistance. Work is generally indoors around moving machinery and loud equipment, with possible exposure to temperature extremes and occasional exposure to cleaning agents.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; move heavier and/or awkward objects with assistance.
• Be able to perform physical tasks that may include bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.

Nice To Haves

• Previous grocery or stock experience.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience.
• Familiarity with AI tools, including ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food.
• Ensure merchandise is fully stocked.
• Maintain display signage and create labels or apply sales tags to merchandise.
• Ensure product labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized; perform housekeeping, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Follow club policies and procedures and support a safe, positive environment for members and coworkers.
• Deliver service excellence, address member concerns, and escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Work as a team to meet daily GOLD club standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
