About The Position

Hotel Jerome is hiring a full-time, year-round, non-exempt Overnight Security Officer. The role monitors and patrols assigned areas to help provide a safe environment for guests and Team Members while minimizing opportunities for loss or damage. The officer patrols the property with specified equipment, checks designated points, documents actions, and supports guests and residents with room access. The position also involves investigating suspicious activity and complaints, responding to accidents and emergencies, and addressing safety hazards.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Security Officer or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a safe environment for guests and Team Members and minimize opportunities for loss or damage.
Patrol the property with specified equipment, check designated points, and document actions taken.
Ensure guest room doors are secured and assist guests and residents with room access.
Investigate suspicious persons on the property.
Conduct designated investigations into theft or lost items, noise complaints, assault complaints, food poisoning complaints, and other guest and resident complaints; complete documented reports.
Respond promptly to guest and Team Member accidents, administer first aid/CPR, and communicate specified information to EMS or medical personnel as required.
Respond to scenes involving guests or Team Members fighting.
Follow state regulations and property guidelines for handling intoxicated guests and residents.
Resolve safety hazard situations and coordinate vehicle towing.
