About The Position

The Overnight Sales Associate (Duty-Free) works in luxury retail stores at Vancouver International Airport, representing brands such as Hermes, Bvlgari, Cartier, Omega, Ferragamo, Burberry, and Moncler. The role delivers elevated customer service, supports store sales goals, maintains brand and visual merchandising standards, and helps ensure merchandise is stocked, organized, and accurately transacted. The position includes an overnight shift and requires open, flexible availability across weekdays and weekends. Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of retail experience.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Comply with the company dress code.

• Open and flexible availability to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings on weekdays and weekends; the position also requires an overnight shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver elevated customer interactions using the six steps of selling and service standards for the luxury category or brand.
• Exceed sales targets by using available selling tools and knowing individual and store targets for each shift.
• Engage customers on the selling floor, serve multiple customers, resolve problems, and provide after-sales service that builds customer loyalty.
• Represent the brand with enthusiasm and maintain a professional, high-energy manner.
• Maintain elevated visual merchandising standards in both front and back areas, following company policies and visual guidelines.
• Maintain inventory organization and transaction integrity, keep current merchandise displayed, and assist with inventory ordering, receiving, and returns.
• Operate a cash register effectively.
• Learn the store layout and answer customer questions about products and the store; remain familiar with nearby businesses and offerings within the facility.
• Communicate pricing, outdated merchandise, and inventory issues to management.
• Help keep the store neat, clean, and organized, including sweeping, dusting, and straightening merchandise and displays.
• Stay informed about market trends and pursue continuous self-improvement through self-directed learning.
• Perform related work as assigned.
