About The Position

The Overnight Sales Associate (Duty-Free) works in luxury retail stores at Vancouver International Airport, representing luxury brands and delivering customer service that exceeds expectations. The role contributes to store goals through product knowledge, sales, customer relationship building, and after-sales service. It also supports daily store operations by maintaining stock levels, receiving and replenishing merchandise, preserving visual standards, and keeping the store organized. The position requires an overnight shift and open, flexible availability for weekday and weekend shifts. Mandarin or Korean language skills are a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of retail experience.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Comply with the company dress code.
• Show passion and pride for the brand in every area of responsibility.
• Have open and flexible availability, including weekdays and weekends, and be able to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings; the role also requires an overnight shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide elevated customer interactions using the six steps of selling and service standards specific to the luxury category or brand.
• Exceed sales targets by consistently using available selling tools.
• Maintain elevated visual merchandising standards in front and back areas and follow visual guidelines.
• Stay informed about brand, industry, and market trends; demonstrate enthusiasm for luxury retail and pursue self-directed learning.
• Maintain attention to detail and uphold the brand image.
• Interact professionally with management and business partners.
• Build customer loyalty through accessible communication and service.
• Know individual and store sales targets for each working shift.
• Engage customers on the sales floor, provide outstanding service to multiple customers, and solve customer problems while exceeding expectations.
• Capture customer names and support customer relationships and after-sales service.
• Maintain inventory organization and transaction integrity, and display current merchandise.
• Operate a cash register effectively.
• Know the store layout and answer customer questions about products throughout the store.
• Remain knowledgeable about surrounding businesses and offerings within the facility.
• Communicate pricing, out-of-date product, and inventory issues to management.
• Keep the store neat, clean, and organized, including sweeping, dusting, and straightening merchandise and displays.
• Assist with book inventory processes, including ordering, receiving, and returns.
• Perform related work as assigned.
• Comply with the company dress code and show passion and pride for the brand.
