About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care Private Duty Skilled Nursing in Richmond, Virginia is seeking an Overnight Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 1:1 Homecare role. We offer a $2,000 Overnight Sign-On Bonus and pride ourselves on providing an excellent onboarding and training experience from Day 1. We cater to an array of clients ranging from infant ages to older adults, from low acuity to trach and vented. We invest in our nurses by providing you with extensive training to help you thrive on your cases! Private duty nursing involves traditional shifts (4’s, 8’s, 10’s or 12’s) with hands-on care for only one client per day, allowing for building client relationships and watching their milestones. Client age ranges from infant to geriatric.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client home near you on a schedule you choose
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations
• Feel empowered to perform skills with autonomy in the home
