Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - 1:1 Homecare
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide skilled, one-to-one private duty nursing in clients’ homes in Cape May and Atlantic Counties, New Jersey. Cases include pediatric and adult clients, from infants to older adults, with care needs ranging from low acuity to tracheostomy and ventilator care. Nurses receive onboarding, extensive training, and ongoing opportunities to build their nursing skills. The position involves traditional shifts of 4, 8, 10, or 12 hours, with flexible scheduling based on nurse preferences and no minimum hours stated. Nurses travel to one nearby client’s home per shift and provide hands-on care to that client. STAT Nurse and Baylor Nurse programs are available. Pay is $29–$33 per hour, depending on experience and availability.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one nearby client’s home according to a chosen schedule.
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide one-to-one, hands-on skilled nursing care in the home.
