About The Position

The Overnight Forklift Driver operates a forklift to transport merchandise and materials throughout the club and supports receiving, stocking, pallet preparation, and club maintenance. The role includes loading and unloading delivery trucks, inspecting and receiving merchandise, following safety procedures and company policies, and providing positive service to Members. Team members may also work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Nice To Haves

• Prior forklift operating experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, inspecting it before use and following established safety standards.
• Load and unload merchandise and materials from delivery trucks; inspect and prepare trucks for unloading.
• Accurately receive merchandise and materials delivered to the club.
• Lift, reserve, and drop pallets between overhead steel and the sales floor.
• Prepare pallets for safe storage by wrapping, strapping, stacking, labeling, and correcting broken pallets.
• Transport merchandise, materials, and pallets safely throughout the club, using a pallet jack as needed.
• Stock, rotate, and store general and food merchandise, and ensure merchandise is fully stocked.
• Handle damaged and spoiled merchandise according to company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized; perform general maintenance, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Participate in daily club openings and closings and return merchandise to the sales floor.
• Greet Members, provide prompt and courteous service, and assist Members in locating merchandise.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties and work in other departments as needed.
