About The Position

The Overnight Forklift Driver operates a forklift to transport merchandise and materials throughout the club, assists with loading and unloading delivery trucks, inspects and receives incoming merchandise, prepares pallets, performs general maintenance and safety procedures, follows club policies and procedures, and provides positive service to Members. The role also stocks, rotates, and stores merchandise, helps keep the club clean and organized, and may work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Nice To Haves

• Prior forklift operating experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, inspecting it before use and following established safety standards.
• Load and unload merchandise and materials from delivery trucks; inspect and prepare trucks for unloading and accurately receive deliveries.
• Lift, reserve, and drop merchandise pallets between overhead steel and the sales floor.
• Prepare pallets for safe reserving by wrapping, strapping, stacking, labeling, and correcting broken pallets.
• Transport merchandise, materials, and pallets throughout the club, using a pallet jack as needed.
• Stock, rotate, and store general and food merchandise; ensure merchandise is fully stocked and handle damaged or spoiled items according to company policies.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard and performing general maintenance duties.
• Participate in daily club openings and closings and return merchandise to the sales floor.
• Greet Members, provide prompt and courteous service, and assist Members in locating merchandise.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned and work in other departments as needed.
