About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Overnight Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing meals during dining hours, maintaining food inventories, and ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen environment at the end of each shift. This role requires strong knowledge of food handling procedures and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen atmosphere.
Requirements
- At least 1-year experience as a Cook in a family style restaurant industry.
- Able to read and follow standardized recipes.
- Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
- Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere.
Nice To Haves
- ServeSafe or Food Handler Certification preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.
- Collaborate with Management to prepare meals during dining hours.
- Maintain accurate food inventories.
- Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures.
- Rotate stock items as per established procedures.
- Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts.
- Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of shift.
