About The Position

The Overnight Center Store Clerk role requires availability to work between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., including weekends. The position offers 24 or more hours per week. Training is provided at the store level. The posting notes that its duties represent major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform and that other duties may be assigned at store management’s discretion.

Requirements

Must be available to work between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Must be available to work weekends.
Must be able to bend and stoop.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to work on their feet for 4–8-hour shifts.
For internal candidates, store or facility teammates are preferred to have at least six months of employment with Schnucks.
For internal candidates, Store Support Center teammates are preferred to have at least one year of employment with Schnucks.
Internal candidates must be in good standing, not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline.
Internal candidates invited to interview must have manager approval based on performance.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Greet customers before filling their orders.
Brew varieties of coffee and create specialty drinks, including smoothies.
Suggest additional products and provide product samples.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and cases, following company safety and sanitation procedures.
Read and understand shelf tags and signage.
Operate a cash terminal.
Follow department opening and closing procedures.
Perform other duties assigned at the discretion of store management.
