About The Position

Super Star Car Wash is seeking an energetic cashier (customer service representative) for a full-service car wash location. The role primarily involves processing customer purchases and payments, answering questions, and maintaining checkout operations. During downtime, the cashier will perform light shelf stocking. The position also helps maintain a safe, clean work environment and contributes to the team’s work as needed.

Responsibilities

Itemize and total purchases using a cash register, including recording prices, departments, and taxable or nontaxable items.
Enter price changes using price sheets and special sale bulletins.
Apply discounts by redeeming coupons.
Collect cash, check, and charge payments and make change for cash customers.
Verify credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver’s license numbers and using a credit card authorization system.
Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of the work shift.
Provide pricing information and answer customer questions.
Maintain checkout operations in accordance with policies and procedures, and report needed changes.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
Perform light shelf stocking during downtime.
Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks and other duties as assigned.
