About The Position

Super Star Car Wash is seeking an energetic cashier (customer service representative) for its full-service locations. The role focuses on obtaining customer payments by scanning items, itemizing purchases, and totaling costs. During downtime, the cashier may lightly stock shelves. The position is intended for someone who enjoys providing positive customer service.

Responsibilities

Itemize and total purchases by recording prices, departments, and taxable and nontaxable items while operating a cash register.
Enter price changes by referring to price sheets and special sale bulletins.
Discount purchases by redeeming coupons.
Collect payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments, and make change for cash customers.
Verify credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver's license numbers and operating the credit card authorization system.
Balance the cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of each work shift.
Provide pricing information by answering questions.
Maintain checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Lightly stock shelves during downtime.
Perform other duties as assigned.
