About The Position

The Lube Technician evaluates, recommends, and performs lubrication services. The role requires anticipating customer needs, building relationships, following safety guidelines, and using upselling skills to maximize sales. Technicians must be able to multitask and adapt to changing weather conditions. Responsibilities must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Drain and change vehicle oil, following safe-handling procedures and correctly disposing of used motor oil.
• Top off vehicle fluids, including transmission and windshield wiper fluid.
• Assist customers with requests to enhance their experience.
• Inspect vehicles to determine maintenance and repair needs.
• Replace different types of filters.
• Follow safety protocols when working in the repair shop and driving vehicles.
• Complete work order forms as tasks are completed and communicate all areas of service to the customer.
• Evaluate, suggest, and complete lubrication services.
• Anticipate customer needs, build customer relationships, and upsell services to maximize sales.
