About The Position

Sevita is seeking a caregiver to help people grow, learn, and live well while developing meaningful relationships with the individuals served. The caregiver supports participants in pursuing community involvement and favorite activities, and helps them work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The role also includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs. Sevita offers training and development intended to support a fulfilling career.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help participants with personal hygiene.
• Support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Encourage participants to be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals served.
