About The Position

The Caregiver assists residents with daily living activities while maintaining their dignity and respect and following applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines. This role is with Clearwater Pinnacle Peak, a senior living community in Scottsdale, Arizona. Schedules are available full-time, Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., or part-time/PRN from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one year of work experience as a Caregiver or in a related field preferred.
First Aid, CPR, and BLS certification required.
Background clearances as required by government regulations.
Must meet health requirements, including TB.

Nice To Haves

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
Minimum of one year of work experience as a Caregiver or in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform regular safety checks on residents.
Assist and encourage residents with daily living activities and respond promptly and kindly to their needs.
Read and follow care plans to provide appropriate care, including managing oxygen tanks and concentrators according to physician orders.
Transport residents as needed, assisting them into and out of beds and wheelchairs while following safety, lifting, and transfer techniques; escort them to and from meals, activities, and other transportation needs as requested or assigned.
Clean, complete laundry, and assist with other community activities and job duties as required or assigned.
Chart and document appropriate information, including incident reports, and immediately communicate observed or suspected changes in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
Respond promptly to resident alerts, carry radios, and respond to emergencies and other resident requests.
Comply with Clearwater Living standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
Maintain a positive, professional image and high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the required uniform and name tag.

Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
