About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Special Needs Caregivers / DSPs in Concord, North Carolina. Caregivers work one-on-one in clients’ homes and community settings as companions and mentors, supporting people with intellectual or developmental disabilities as they pursue their goals. The role offers part-time work with flexible scheduling and overnight shifts. Starting pay is $15 per hour, with weekly pay. Requirements
- One or more years of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities; training may be available through the apprentice program for applicants without this experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 or older.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including dressing and grooming.
- Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
- Spend time participating in clients’ favorite hobbies and activities.
- Assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation.
- Participate in community integration activities.
